Older Florida Drivers! Effective January
1, 2004, if you are a driver 80 years old or greater, you are
now required to pass a vision test prior to renewing your
license. This test can be administered by the driver license
office for no charge, or if you choose, your own licensed
health care practitioner. If you choose to have the exam
completed by your own doctor, he must submit the report to the
department.
